That was not a typical neighborhood play. The guy's feet were fixed about three feet from the base and he didn't even come close to touching it. Usually the neighborhood is when your foot slides around the base. Of course MacCarver was outraged. I'm almost thankful the Yankees didn't win it on that. We'd be hearing shit about for years.
