It appears that Hughes is not ready for the big time. Where's the hook Joe?

He always does seem to be a little too cheery for the team playing the Yankees. Frickin' Buck...
Thank you for stopping the bleeding...

Comeback number 2! at least we have 8 batters until Swisher hits again!
Can we bring Marte back in?
hughes should throw only curves

Re: Game 5 - Getting it Done
Hughes shit himself there. Why does Vlad get a fastball? If he had thrown that curve again he would have swung out of his shoes. Also notice, Posada does not come out and talk to Hughes, just break up the pace there. He doesn't have that saaviness as a catcher. Not saying it wouldn't have turned out the same way but your job in that spot is to do everything you can to get your pitcher through it. I'm just pissed. Gong to be nice to come back and break their hearts twice in one game.

Joe Buck thinks he's creating the drama. He doesn't realize that the game speaks for itself.

MAn, they really suck up every minute of advertising possible. Did they tell Weaver when to wind up too?

Those 2 pitches Jeter just held on Melky swung at like a tee ball player

I guess when you have no bullpen you just use your game 7 starter
and when you do have a bullpen you bring in your ragged starter and mop up guy

Re: Game 5 - Getting it Done
I'm still trying to wrap that last inning around my head. Burnett had settled in but are you ever feeling confident in this guy? He was probably doing well because it looked like the Yankees were never going to get a hit. As soon as they got that lead, that should have been Hughes out there to start that inning.
Great Joba, you suck.

Re: Game 5 - Getting it Done
I think Joe punked out. Jobba gave up a run last outing so he was afraid to go with the formula. Now we have Jobba in the 8th??????
The baby bombers are not ready for post-season.
Must keep it here because A-Rod is set up for the 9th.

Why would you bunt Mathis. This guy's been Hank Greenberg.
